Join us for a Road Rally August 22 through the 23rd!

Turn the crank on your Model T, or gas up your 65 Ford Mustang  and hit the road! From Walloomsac to Rensselaer, you will use clues provided to locate different sites associated with  Rensselaer County’s role in the Revolutionary War. Find every location in the county to be entered into a special prize drawing!

• The Revolutionary Road Trip takes place all weekend, from Saturday August 22nd to Sunday August 23rd.

  • There will be 16 locations to find - one for each of the 14 towns and 2 cities in Rensselaer County. Estimated time for completion of this rally is 4-5 hours.

  • Participants are welcome to compete as individuals or with a team!

  • Note: August 22nd is the same day as our Community Story Share from 1-4pm at the Hart Cluett, so feel free to stop inside the museum on your travels if you have something to share.

• All clues for the 16 different locations across the county will be posted on our website, Friday evening, August 21st.

• From August 22 - 23, you can submit your answers for each of the clues by emailing a photograph of yourself at each location (or even just giving a good description) as proof to ksheehan@hartcluett.org by Sunday evening, August 23rd at 9PM.

•  The winning participants (those who find every stop) will be placed in a drawing for a Rensselaer County Gift bag, so good luck!  Be sure to have fun, and of course take pictures!  We will post some of our favorites the following week on Facebook and Instagram.
